What Is Third Eye High Podcast?

Updated: May 23

A podcast about slowing down long enough to actually think.

Dim desk scene with candle, whiskey, incense smoke, open notebook, and Third Eye High Podcast logo; city lights glow beyond window.

Most people are never alone with their thoughts anymore. The second silence shows up, we fill it...

  • Music.

  • Scrolling.

  • Noise.

  • Notifications.

  • Another video.

  • Another opinion.

  • Another distraction.

Anything to avoid sitting still long enough to hear ourselves think. But what happens when you finally do?

What happens when the noise drops, the walls come down a little, and your mind finally has room to wander?

That question is the reason Third Eye High Podcast exists.

There’s Something Strange About Modern Life

We’ve never been more connected, more informed, more entertained, or more stimulated.

And somehow… a lot of us still feel mentally exhausted, emotionally disconnected, and creatively numb. Not because we aren’t thinking. But because we rarely let thoughts breathe long enough to become anything meaningful.

Everything is instant now.

  • Instant reactions.

  • Instant outrage.

  • Instant entertainment.

  • Instant answers.

We skim life instead of experiencing it. And somewhere along the way, a lot of people forgot what it feels like to sit with an idea without immediately trying to win, defend, post, or monetize it.

That’s where this show came from.

  • Not from wanting to “teach” people something.

  • Not from pretending to have answers.

  • And definitely not from trying to become another loud voice fighting for attention online.

Honestly, it came from noticing how rare genuine reflection has become.

The older I get, the more I realize most people are carrying around thoughts they never fully process.

  • Questions they never say out loud.

  • Fears they bury under routine.

  • Curiosity they abandoned because life got busy.

And sometimes all it takes is slowing down for a minute to realize your mind has been trying to talk to you the whole time.

That’s the energy behind Third Eye High.

  • Not perfection.

  • Not performance.

  • Just exploration.

This Isn’t Really a Podcast About Weed

That surprises some people, because yes, cannabis is part of the atmosphere.

It’s part of the ritual. Part of the pacing. Part of the openness. But it was never supposed to be the entire point.

Cannabis, for me, became more like a doorway than a destination. Not something that magically creates wisdom. Just something that occasionally slows the world down enough to notice things differently.

To notice patterns.

Connections.

Emotions.

Questions...

And sometimes, when you stop rushing your own mind, you realize how much of your life has been lived on autopilot. That realization can be uncomfortable. But it can also be freeing. Because once you become aware of the noise, you can finally decide which voices deserve your attention.

Most people don’t actually lack thoughts.

They lack space to hear them.

The Things We Don’t Talk About

One thing I’ve noticed is how hungry people are for real conversations.

Not curated conversations.

Not algorithm conversations.

Real ones.

The kind where someone admits they’re confused. Or scared. Or questioning things. Or trying to figure themselves out in real time. Those conversations are becoming rare. Everybody feels pressure to appear certain. Certain politically. Certain morally. Certain spiritually. Certain socially.

But certainty is exhausting. And honestly, a lot of growth begins with admitting you don’t fully know.

That space, between confidence and confusion, is where some of the best thoughts live.

That’s where this show wants to exist. Not above people. Not preaching at people.

Just sitting beside them asking, “What if we looked at this differently for a minute?”

Because sometimes a single perspective shift changes everything.

Why “Third Eye High Podcast”?

The name isn’t really about being high, not completely.

It’s about perspective. About those moments where your brain briefly steps outside its normal patterns and sees something familiar in a completely different way.

Sometimes that looks philosophical.

Sometimes funny.

Sometimes uncomfortable.

Sometimes healing.

Sometimes it’s as simple as realizing you’ve been surviving for so long that you forgot how to actually experience your own life.

And honestly, I think a lot of people are craving that kind of mental reset right now.

Not escapism. Awareness. There’s a difference. Escapism helps you avoid yourself.

Awareness forces you to meet yourself. That doesn’t mean every episode will be heavy or existential.

Some will be funny. Some weird. Some deeply personal. Some pop-culture driven. Some philosophical spirals that probably started from one random thought at midnight.

That unpredictability is part of the point. Because real thinking isn’t linear.

Sometimes the most important conversations happen when nobody’s trying to sound important.

An Invitation, Not a Performance

At its core, this show is really an invitation.

To slow down.

To question things.

To laugh at how strange life is sometimes.

To reconnect with curiosity.

To stop pretending we always know what we’re doing.

And maybe most importantly… to realize you are probably not as alone in your thoughts as you think you are. A lot of us are trying to figure life out in real time.

We just don’t say it enough.

If Third Eye High becomes anything meaningful, I hope it becomes a space where people feel comfortable thinking out loud again.

Not perfectly.

Just honestly.

Closing Reflection

Maybe that’s what this podcast really is.

Not a guide.

Not a lecture.

Not a brand pretending to have life figured out.

Just one person sitting with a thought long enough to follow where it leads…

and inviting other people to do the same.

And honestly? In a world constantly demanding our attention, that might be one of the rarest things left.

Stay Curious. Stay Lifted. Stay Third Eye High.
